Makeup Ideas for the Performers in Syria

Dance Strand will also need to take on production roles, to do this we will write applications letters for the production type we wanted. I wrote mine for makeup, and I drafted up some face charts to complete my application. My first face chart was for the performers in Syria.

I imagined I would use earthy colours such as browns and blacks, like in the picture above. The black will extenuate the eyes, and I would contour the cheeks so the emotions are seen from the audience, this will increase the audiences feelings, as they would be able to see clear emotions of the characters. I used a brown smokey eye, to give the effect of bruised eyes. And the purple lip colour would stand out in a very natural look.
